1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Please, anyone?[IMG] Even an "I have absolutely no idea" from you would be better than nothing.

I wish I had more info. There are a couple of articles on Campagna out there as you referenced but beyond that I haven't been able to find anything out. After reading a couple of years ago his claims of spending more than twice as much time making a suit than Kiton I have been hoping to see a Campagna but have had no success.

One other grain of info - back in 2000 a friend reported seeing Gianni Campagna ready-to-wear suits at Saks in Beverly Hills. If I remember correctly she said that they were going for $4000.00. I don't think they carry them now though.

On another rare suit note - has anyone else seen the suits Saint Andrews does for Stefano Ricci? They are very impressive.

As I mentioned in an earlier Campagna posting, I saw the CNN piece when I was in Europe. CNN got me to stick around for it by billing it a showdown of bespoke makers; then, they showed this piece of editorial piffle. There was no significant discussion of the different suits, their ultimate appearance, fit, or quality, never mind their respective prices. Nor did they show the finished product in any detail. (I do envy Richard Quest for getting 2 free bespoke suits, however. I wonder if he dreamed up the segment?.) [IMG]
