so i pretty much have a very smooth face like this guy [IMG] however i have very thick coarse hair that grows above my lip..a mustache if i let it grow all the way...its weird because the rest of my face isnt prone to any stubble other than my chin...the rest of the hair on my face is very fine. i hate that even when i do a close shave i can still see a "shadow" above my lip ive tried plucking every single hair with a tweezer and it looked great but its painful and takes too long to do. does anyone have any tips/advice? has anyone used nair on their upper lip? i tried waxing and i coudlnt get it to work [IMG] (and yes i tried waxing when the hair grew out i wasnt waxing stubble lol)

I wouldn't recommend it, but I don't see why waxing wouldn't work. FYI, you can't wax stubble. You need to let it grow out a little before waxing...otherwise, the wax wouldn't have anything to hold.

Straight razor. Against the grain. That's as much effort as I would ever put into that.

tried that it still leaves a "shadow" on the skin because of the root hairs inside the skin

I think a lot of guys here aren't aware of what men are supposed to have.

That dude has makeup on, hence the lack of apparent stubble.

You could always do the laser hair removal thing. But I can't imagine not being able to wake up with some stubble...it's part of being a guy.

Alternatively, for someone not versed in straight razors, a DE would suffice. One pass along the grain, and then another across the grain and finally against the grain.

according to whom? this is cultural context. in europe and japan hair removal for men is booming.

besides it would be one thing if i had coarse facial hair along my jawline and midcheek etc.

but i dont, the hair is very fine in those areas and its only above the upper lip

this looks weird because my face is flawless and then i have this weird shadow above my lip which ruins the uniform color of my face.

some guys are hairy some guys arent hairy
im not hairy and the hair above my lip doesnt go with my smooth chest and smooth face.

i live in LA where chest waxing/tanning etc. is very cmmon for men.

    anyway

he doesnt have make up on here and he stil doesnt have stubble , hes just like me...
hes not a very hairy guy
