Getting Leather and Other Goods in Florence

I will be visiting Florence in two weeks and I’m looking to buy a leather bag for traveling. I came across https://www.romitileather1947.com/, and the seller seems reputable. Does anyone have any feedback on the quality of his bags and leather? Additionally, I noticed some other bags with similar liners and zippers would this be a concern?

Does anyone have stores they liked or would recommend? I know about the leather school—is that the best option, or are there other good makers in town?

I really want to support some local shops, preferably family-owned and operated. Thanks for the help!
