1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'm thinking they were broken engagements rather than rejected proposals. If you know someone well enough to propose, you generally know the answer you're going to get. Not that there's anything wrong with that -- plenty of people have ex-fiance(e)s these days.

You need to re-read his post. But still, 5 Ex-fiances? That's even much worse than having 5 guys propose (at different times) and turn them down.

To the OP, sorry to rain on your parade. Be more careful what you post next time.

    +1

Could it be that the 5 other proposals came from guys with limited finances?

    Wow, lol.
    1. Ok, she was proposed to - and declined - 4 times prior
    2. She is from another, more conservative culture - proposals come early and (relatively) more often there.
    3. She is an MD - not a gold digger

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, i everyone can feel this way at some point. I have been dating as an adult for 20 years now and I did not even know this species of emotion existed. For years, I have been creating a checklist and measuring women against it; thinking to myself that this is how we find an ideal partner. Then I met HER and just knew. Instantly.

Some of you know exactly what I am talking about; Others will assume (as I once did) that I am a fool or a liar attempting to justify a bad decision. I am neither and I hope everyone gets to experience this.

Good luck everyone and thank you for the support and good wishes!
