So, I'll be traveling for business soon. These guys I'll be meeting always like to go to a cigar lounge afterwards. I would like to only bring one suit with a couple different shirts & ties. My Q is, do any of you know a good overnight method for getting the cigar smell out of your suits aside from finding a 24 hour dry cleaners? I'm all for ideas & theories, but I would like to hear from those who have actually used the technique they suggest. I may just end up bringing another suit along.

My instinct is to say steam, but apparently that might make your suit implode.

If there is a Japanese grocery store that you can get to there is an odorless spray that they might sell that removes such odors. I have used it a couple of times and it works; no idea whether continued use will harm the fabric over the long term.

I like this idea. Not only go naked, but just go about like everything's normal. It will be my very own the emperor's new clothes. What? You mean you can't see my new bespoke suit?

Making this happen overnight is tough, my thought would be to give it a strong brushing and hang outside overnight. Perhaps not feasible for you.

I thought the one advantage of being a smoker is that you don't mind the crappy smoke smell on your clothes.
