Vintage German Leather Trench Coat, Overcoat. Coat is a heavy dark green/black leather, feels like horsehide or steerhide. Coat is in excellent vintage condition without tears, holes or stains on either the leather or liner. Leather is heavy and thick with nice patina. Tag reads "Engelhorn+Sturm" and underneath "das bekleidungshaus in mannheim seit 1890", which translates to: "The Clothing store in Mannheim since 1890." This coat comes with an inner and outer belt which keep the front closed. I am not sure of the vintage, but was told it was likely made in the 1950s. The coat also features a nice zippered chest pocket (see photos). The coat is sized like a 38-40. The size can be adjusted somewhat be loosening or tightening the belts and it also depends on how much clothing you'd like to layer underneath. It's rare to find one of these coats in a smaller size and in this condition. A very cool quality leather overcoat. Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches Chest, armpit to armpit: 21 inches (depends on how tightly you adjust the waist belt) Sleeves from shoulder to cuff: 25.5 inches Length of back of coat from top of collar to hem: 43 inches Asking $199 Shipped worldwide.
