Bought GATs from @Nicolas1
Shipment took 3-4 days, good price. Only downside was that he/she didn't answer so fast every time on email, but overall I'm very happy with the buy! ++

This is realistically not possible unless you're living in Poland.

I think he lives in Poland, as mine came from Poland.

Great experience buying. Will probably buy more from Nicolas, soon.

Yeah, I got mine from kidcoin (I'm USA) and the shoes are still going strong. Really like them, maybe better looking than the Margiela GATS so I'll keep getting them unless I want a different color.

Old thread, but I just got a pair of Svenssons and they are amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for higher end gats

Meatier sole for sure but super comfortable and superb, soft leather

To replace some very old Pumas, I've decided to get some GATs. I originally wanted the new Adidas model but they seem to only have been released in Europe and I can't find any in my size. So I'm planning to get the original BW ones from militariaworld_ltd_bh.

I'm on the fence about sizing, though, and would be grateful for some help. I'm
10C or 9.5D in Alden's Hampton and Van lasts,
10 or 10.5 in sneakers (Vans, Asics, Nike), depending on if I wear them with thin or thick socks.

This seems to translate to 275 or 280 and I was about to get 275, since I think I'd wear these in the summer with thin socks. But then I saw that my Asics running shoes say 28cm/10US/44EU. They fit great w/ thin socks, so now I'm thinking 280s might be better. What do you guys say? 275 or 280? Thanks.

Btw, I read through the thread and it was very helpful. Thanks. The sizing chart in the OP no longer showed, so I edited in a new one posted much later by @max_r.

You still need help with sizing? I'm a 10 with a wider foot and the 275 worked for me length wise but the width was a little narrow. Had to break it in before it was comfortable. 275 should be good for you.

I wear a 10 in Stan Smith's and most Nikes. I wear 10.5 sometimes in Nikes like the free line.

Thanks a lot, @Timbaland. I have some Nike Frees somewhere and will check what I am in those. I think 10.5. My feet are a bit narrow.
