George Mattos, formerly of Oxxford Clothes, will be joining Barneys Clothing Store on Madison Avenue (between 60th and 61st Streets), effective Monday, April 11, 2011.

Based on Barney's 7th Floor, George will specialize in Oxxford, Hickey Freeman, Brioni, Kiton and many other suitings, both ready made and MTM. Additionally, he can assist with your outerwear, knitwear, shirting and accessory needs.

No, I don't work for Barneys, nor am I receiving any consideration for the mention.

I know George from having shopped at the Oxxford store for a number of years...George was the Store Manager. I have always found him to be knowledgeable, customer service-oriented and a stand–up guy.
