That frilly number is one of the worst moments in Bond sartorial history.
The "EW" cover is priceless.

"Gore Vidal reviews Easy Rider."
Note that the cover has the requisite SF reference to teh ****.
OHMSS, the Christmas-themed bond movie (The World is Not Enough doesn't count) is perhaps my favorite Bond film, even though Lazenby is a horrible actor and the dialogue and characters very stilted at times, even for a Bond film. The atmosphere, the clothes, the decor, the architecture, the ethos... all that could only exist in a one-off Bond like OHMSS.
Diana Rigg=Possibly the best Bond girl, in the best Bond-girl part, ever.

I sympathize with that, but moreover, I think it's the best Bond book ever written.
