No way: one of the best.

Here's one of the worst:

My favorite Bond, with the possible exception of Connery.

Yeah, it really makes me smile.

I wish Lazenby had been more careful about putting his jacket on...his collar is off his neck in almost every shot.

I think of him as the only Bond who wore a straight out military cut. The lapels on some of them are out of sight.

OHMSS, the Christmas-themed bond movie (The World is Not Enough doesn't count) is perhaps my favorite Bond film, even though Lazenby is a horrible actor and the dialogue and characters very stilted at times, even for a Bond film. The atmosphere, the clothes, the decor, the architecture, the ethos... all that could only exist in a one-off Bond like OHMSS.

Diana Rigg=Possibly the best Bond girl, in the best Bond-girl part, ever.

I sympathize with that, but moreover, I think it's the best Bond book ever written.

Ah, classic stuff. Poor old George is still national joke punch-line in Australia. I think he was hoping to follow in Flynn's footsteps.

Rigg was stunning.

I agree.

Vox, are you a fran of teh Lazenby oeuvre? Kentucky Fried Movie, Saint Jack, Return of the Man from Uncle and all that? I still want to see the 1970s version of Universal Soldier, where Germaine Greer (!!!!!!) plays his love interest.

This was the high point of unashamed testicular style among all Bond movies...in particular, London tailoring in 1969 was at an apex of confidence, and you can see it in some of Lazenby's clothes.

Do DocHolliday and you have a secret handshake?

I'll go along with that.

In fact, you might have just convinced me to re-read it since I am in re-read mode.
