1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Gents, can you recommend a pair of black monk strapped shoes under $400

    double strapped not single. Though $400 is my budget i would prefer the best value possible. TYIA

    Allen Edmond seconds are around $200 or so. I have a pair and they look great and are very comfortable, however they only have one strap. If you can live with that IMO it's a good deal.

    No personal experience, but I don't think Magnanni is at that point.

    I saw a Magnanni section in a department store while in Berlin...definitely not as robust as the other brands mentioned earlier. Depends how often you'll wear them for it to matter though.
