Would also like information for a loafer that fits like rain or inca.

Supposedly the xim or Alaro last are more generous, just not as sleek as uetam. I personally don't have personal fitting experience on these so it's a wild guess.

so when I say a wide fitting last, I'm referring to the wide version of Rain or Forest. So if Simpson is narrower than Rain, it is significantly narrower than a wide Rain. For me to fit into regular rain width, I already have to size up a whole size from my normal size (which is why I do the wide version). If going to Simpson or uetam means I have to size up more, it just isn't going to work.

Roger you know I'll be wearing them as soon as they arrive.

That grey suede loafer would be money with denim. Fuck

Loafers are a very tough fit for me, so I can at least resist temptation there. They would really rock with denim and chinos for sure.

Seriously I could imagine it. Steve are the loafers unlined?

I have a pair of loafers on the alaro last. They're generous in the forefoot with a shallow instep. Overall they're tighter on me than my rain lasted balmorals.

I've definitely seen Penny Loafers in Rain Last. I wonder if they can do this plain toe type of loafer in Rain last as well??
The grey suede matched with some light colored jeans sounds amazing!
I will ask the factory and get back to you gents next week!

@justinkapur These loafers are lined but Carmina does offer unlined loafers as I have seen them at Pitti :)

Steve, I have penny loafers on the Rain last and Carmina made (after some cajoling) burgundy shell cordovan tassel loafers on the rain last for me. I am sure they would do these---if asked correctly.

Thanks. I love them. However, I paid 50% additional for them to have the MTO done on my own. If you guys do something like that with Steve, as a group, you skip that fee. That would make them even better. LOL.

I'd definitely be interested in a loafer on the Rain last

Mine too, though I'll have to wait until Sunday night to get them. Very psyched but a bit concerned I should have sized down half. Fingers crossed!

I have the same problem and it means my half size up Uetem loafers are not worn often. I had a very painful break in period, but now they fit reasonable well.

Well my forest last cordovan boots are very comfortable by after a few hours they become painful. I'm excited to try these bad boys. Plus worst case throw on some thicker socks

Is there any way that you've gotten around this? I have the same issue.

I had same issue with my carmina inca monk straps, but I was standing at a party for about 5 hours so that probably didn't help
