Those gold museum calf oxfords look amazing, and I've got my eye on them. I'm trying to get a read on the true color, though. I love the way they look in your pics and how they currently appear on the website (a rich medium brown), but then I saw this picture of Carmina Gold Museum calf, which is lighter than I would like. For those who have actually seen these, which is more accurate? Thanks for your help!

The picture on our website is a very acurate representation of it's true color (medium brown)
Museum Gold batch is infamous for having different variations from batches to batches (at least from the tannery Carmina sources)

    Cheers!
    Steve

Agree with Steve; i heard the same that there might be slight variations from batch to batch - at least i have seen some slight color variations of what is supposed to be the same pair of shoes, nothing notiable unless you have them paired together and looks closely was my impression.

But again, buy Carmina with confidence - they make some remarkable shoes.

I've been super negligent in posting this but I recently obtained a shoe I've wanted for quite some time from @steveyoo1983 and his awesome store. Edward Green Dover in DOAK on the 606. They are wonderful in every way.

Forgot to post my first Orazio MTM with Steve. I was measured by Steve's tailor Sam in his SD showroom and I'm very happy with the result. Fabric is a lightweight wool/cashmere from Drapers.

True classics! Enjoy in great health :)

Looking good! Another customer came in and did a dark green version of the same fabric few weeks ago too. Great fabric indeed :)
