I think the lighting is pretty unflattering for a teaser picture. Or maybe that's how they wanted it!...

I can't wait to get these.

Speak of the devil, I was about to ask about the saddle shell ptb.

Good to hear. On another note, it'd be awesome to get a MTO gallery on your site Steve. You've run some great makeups.

    Hey peeps,

Any MTO interests on a split toe derby - preferrably on a darker brown suede on Soller last:

I'm down for either calf or suede - so long as the colour is brown/dark brown (hell, I'd maybe even be open for burgundy)

Top is obviously out in the wild and the bottom is what it was photographed as.

From what I heard from forum member Gyaish is that its a sort of greenish/grey color

ah gotcha - thanks for the pics! For some reason, I thought of 'christmas' green  I know... color me crazy

I was thinking to use this pair as an everyday beater-type, hence the brown.
In the same token... I've never had a green pair nor would I know how to rock it.

I'm like a "on-the-fence-yes" vote on the loden. Thanks for bringing that up! Interesting color for sure

I have a pair of green bontonis but they are a brownish/green and I love the hell out of those. I like the idea of a brown but would you be open to shell as opposed to calf? And possibly the queens last instead of the wide solder last?

I would prefer the green loafer for spring/summer.

Loden suede loafers (maybe both full strap penny or string) is definitely in the works! I'll announce it in December so we can get it before spring!

So does that mean a negative for the split toe? If so thats not a problem.

Justin - I'm down for shell... I don't own any and the split toe would be a nice style for it... cordovan or saddle?

I do however have another proposition... Carmina Tanker Boots:

I'm open to suggestions but I do prefer this one the way it is though.. dark brown suede. I feel the white stitching pops against the dark suede.
I'm partial to Soller on the belief that it is a wider(widest) last... but if that's not the case then I'm down for whatever is :)
