1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Looks like I'm also in Dainite!

Is there a price difference between Dainite and leather?

    Steve,
I'm ok in Camina bal boots in Forest last at UK9. I have a derby boot in forest that's a UK9.5 It needs a Dr. Scholl's insert. My AE 3,5,7 lasts are all 10D.

You have me down for the Team Dainite museum burgundy Bal boot in UK9. Is this going to be Ok in the Rain?

Huge thanks to everyone who participated on the 'Ron Burgundy' boots MTO ;)

Both Dainite & leather sole option is available & the last day to sign up will be 10/12 Sunday.
Please feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions about the MTO!

Sorry to use this photo again but it helps to use as reference for my question. With regards to the above U-Wing boots on Rain last GMTO - are folks getting half a size larger than normal to get a bit more room for their feet when it comes to boots or to accommodate thicker socks when you feel the need?

I did not personally. I wear a 10US and rather than go a full size down for euro sizes I instead wear a 9.5UK on the Rain last. 9UK is way too snug and 9.5UK is good enough to where I don't have heel slippage but can still accommodate thicker socks. Plus with a boot you inherently have more wiggle room especially in the instep area. I'd say go with your normal Rain size.

Am I wrong to say that, because the original image of the U wing was with shell, the photoshopped version has a gloss to it that won't likely be there (because it's not shell) ?

It's gorgeous either way, just confirming. I do think Rain is the best last for this and happy we decided on a single Dainite version.

All these Carmina MTO's are killing me. My feet require some extra width options. If anyone has a winter boot makeup (e.g. something similar to the U-Wing boot MTO) on the Forest last, I might actually be able to join in. Anyone else waiting for a MTO on the Forest last?

The u wing pattern might not be available on the forest. But, I am in the same boat. I'd like to try the forest in a wide.

    Cxl jodhpurs?
