Sorry, I'd prefer the stitch cap. As I said, I need a pair of formal black oxfords, but in a boot version.

Is anyone else interested? C'mon guys!

You know I know these are derbies and so technically less formal but they're so sleek I can't imagine wearing them without a suit or formal trousers. They just don't look quite right with jeans on my feet (I actually don't wear jeans all that often so not a huge problem for me anyway).

That's pretty true. I think it's hard to pull off even for me, but I always wear a sportcoat or suit jacket with my jeans or chinos so I think it's okay... :p

I might be down for that tanker—antique storm welt, Dainite, Oscar/Soller last—but in black calf or black pebbled grain. Any chance to get it with 7-8 brass eyelets?

Of course, I'd prefer this in black shell. I've wanted a black shell tanker with antique welt for ages :(

Why do you have to rub it in.
I wanted shell jodhpurs, and I missed this run.
Now no one will do them because they have a high failure rate.

I definitely want another pair as this one is sized a half size big. Maybe Meermin or St. C would do it?

I have confirmation from Meermin and St C.
    The design is different though.
I got a ballpark price from St C at ~2500 and Meermin was ~750

Yeah the carmina version is optimal, maybe Carmina will change their mind in future?

Oh we are so close!!! Just one more!!

The tanker boots design is only avail the way it is at this moment.
Soller last and with 5 eyelets :)

A good friend of ours www.mclassic101.com offers Saint Crispins as well! Tell them I sent ya :)
I think I saw they did a navy shell doublemonk before which was quite stunning!
@mclassic101 They have official thread here on the forum as well.

I remember I had to fight hard for that one
Betty tells me no but who knows :)
