Thanks. Well, that solves some issues, I guess. I read that JR soles were used for lizard also some pages back when you did this make up in black lizard, hence my suggestion to go with JR. But I guess it's not an option with regular calf.

Single leather sole and the green shoes but in either dark or mid brown it is.

Lets see if there's any interest :)

Obviously everyone here's aware of the cordovan shortage. But might Carmina have some extra green shell somewhere, simply because there haven't been nearly as many green shell MTO/GMTO's? (Presumably).

I dont think so. They keep sending us reminder emails that they are not taking anymore shell orders until further notice,
Those green single monks are for a shop in Germany and Im guessing they had ordered it before the shortage :)

I could be interested. In fact, I wanted to propose a single monk gmto, but was waiting for shell to be an option again. However, some medium briwn calf might be okay. Any pics of the two different shades?

Also, I need to nail down my rain fit. Hoping to do so with an mto I'm waiting on. Steve, any news about the snuff rain captoe boots? When we ordered I think it was for a sept or oct delivery.

I'd also be interested in medium brown calf or even brown museum calf - does anybody have a picture of what that looks like?

Here is our vegano brown (medium brown) doublemonk

and our dark brown quarter brogue

Sadly No brown museum calf avail at this point..only dark burgundy museum calf (very very dark)
(they did mention they will be purchasing the leather soon in the future)

Great. So we're potentially 3 interested in this make up. For those who've missed it:

    Model: Single monk
    Last: Rain
Color: Dark brown (Natur marron) or mid brown (Vegano marron). Seems like mid brown is the favorite.
    Sole: Single leather sole.
    Buckle:
    What are the options?

I was specifically lusting after the green shell. They have stock of their green shell brogues still, and have just made this order, so it has to be worth asking the question, right?

Blue shell, ruby shell...I want to see something kinky.

Those green shell monkstraps are tumescent.

What is a "JR" sole? I don't think my lizard monkstraps came with a JR sole, but I guess I could be wrong.

Also, what's happened to the scotchgrain dark brown oxford/leather sole GMTO?

May I suggest light brown Cognac calf (example as shown) also?

I hate to do this so quickly, but I'm going to have to bow out early from the single monk MTO. It slipped my mind yesterday that my girlfriend's bday is coming up soon and I should probably focus on getting something for her.
