Yes, if we are talking about the dark brown pebble grain (scotch grain) of the recent rain lasted boot.

This? This is burgundy or brown? I could go either way would prefer the burnished brown I've seen around.

I think we have 4. I am willing to wait on this one a long time. I love the idea.

    Here is my wish list:

    Style: cap toe quarter brogue

    Color: Burgundy burnished

Material: (in descending order of preference--based on availability)
    Hatch grain
    Pin grain
    Pebble grain

    Last: Rain

    Edge: Black

    Who is in with me?

My apologies! I misread your question. I thought you were proposing a new shoe but I do recall the existing makeup. Sorry for the confusion.

I like the idea but don't have my Rain size figured out...

Yes this is exactly it. I want to make sure it's on dainite though. The whole reason to do a cold weather shoe would be the sole choice.

If you would do a chestnut brown (have too much chocolate) in Rain last, Dainite, and a carbon copy of the JL upper pictured above then count me in :slayer:

What would be the ballpark price for something like this?

This would be burgundy though! Chestnut would be too light for me. I have a pair or light brown pebble derbies already.

Burgundy would be killer with grey flannel and a navy sportcoat!

No. I don't want a Dainite sole. I have enough Dainite. Sorry maybe we can do leather and Dainite. I am not really a fan myself. I think it is only good in rain and I wear Swims. I like leather. Sorry.

Steve can it be done as 1/2 leather and 1/2 dainite? or does it need to be one or the other? Tomir sole maybe?

I would be very interested in a burgundy hatch grain Oxford in the tomir sole (not too enthusiastic about pebble grain). What price are we looking at for this? Do you guys prefer blind eyelets or those in the lobb picture?

It was my understanding we were attempting to, as closely as possible, duplicate this.

I would be in on a leather sole.
