I in fact do like the way the bright brass hardware says 'look at me!' ;) But the antiqued is not bad either. I'm fine with both.

Alright cxl dudes! I know I've posted a bunch of pics but here is another one, for those visual people. Comparo of antiqued brass vs bright brass:

I much prefer the antiqued brass (the second pic). The brass in the first pic is too bright imho. Both shoes shown below are on cxl as well

That's what I prefer as well. Not sure I would want the bright brass at all

Alright, so antiqued brass it is! I'm very fine with this.

    Yeah! :slayer:

(Fixed the list for you, we are six)

We still need Steve's input on the medium brown sole edge though.

Carmina definitely does it, and does it VERY well. Below is exactly how what we're proposing will look

^ Yes! re the sole edge.

But: minus the sole middle part, I'd prefer a Commando in one rubber piece (i.e. Without the leather piece in the middle, for durability)

Re the sole edge, I'm hoping for a little lighter than the above. I've been doing a ton of research re carmina sole edge and while doing so, I read somewhere that skoaties pictures appear lighter than they truly are. If that's then case then maybe the natural sole edge is the route to go bc. It would be darker in person.

All that said, I know we all love shoes, Steve and this mto but it's Labor Day weekend! Let's give Steve some time to respond about the sole edge. I think we have all the logistics ironed out except for thiis last detail. I'm confident he will get back with us as soon as he can. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Im really looking forward to this boot! I'm a Baylor alum so I'll end this with a Sic Em Bears!
