Those green shell monkstraps are tumescent.

What is a "JR" sole? I don't think my lizard monkstraps came with a JR sole, but I guess I could be wrong.

Also, what's happened to the scotchgrain dark brown oxford/leather sole GMTO?

May I suggest light brown Cognac calf (example as shown) also?

I hate to do this so quickly, but I'm going to have to bow out early from the single monk MTO. It slipped my mind yesterday that my girlfriend's bday is coming up soon and I should probably focus on getting something for her.

I'm afraid it's to light. I believe a darker shade (dark/mid brown) is a much more versatile color. Are you totally against them?

You are - a better dressed boyfriend? :D

[IMG]That's a tough sell. I could try it, but she might indeed find herself a better-dressed boyfriend and it won't be me.

I have a similarly inspired pair based on Carmina made by Meccariello. Surprisingly versatile.

Vass use Rendenbach soles exclusively, Allen Edmonds use them on their shell cordovan shoes only.

And I want WEIRD COLOURED SHELL MONKS!

Haven't heard any more about the leather sole option. Is this still up for discussion?

I would rather have leather sole and a darker brown shade, but lets wait and see if there are enough people interested in the make up and their thoughts on these matters.

Unfortunately I think I'm one of the five.

I might ask around on the Aus Members threak to see if anyone's interested.

Another day out for the burgundy wingtip derbies. These are really becoming my go-to shoe.

Just got mine in from Steve! They're absolutely stunning!
Also just spent yesterday and today shining my brown captoes with the polishes I picked up from Steve.
Best customer service out of all the other stores/companies hands down.

Great work. Especially on those to the right. Deets on those?

And I can attest to the customer service of Steve, it's awesome.
