    Hey there gents,
Sorry about the delay in response. I personally have not heard anything about this from Carmina unfortunately :(
I've just sent Betty an email so hopefully I will hear back more about it soon....

This is the last batch of tobacco suede we've received btw. Does not have that red-ish tint but still has beautiful cinnamon-ish tint
    [IMG]

It really depends. I've heard half size down for some and same size for some.
I have slightly wide foot and I can fit same size one both Rain and Detroit (both 5.5 UK) But I find 6 UK Rain more comfortable lately and find 5.5 UK Detroit well fitting fro the get go.

    Thank you gents!
I was on a roadtrip with the fam (in laws) to Portland OR!
    Beautiful city & State :)

I will be at Pitti in Jan 2015 & also will be at July Mrket Show in NY (Pitti for USA haha) if anyone wants to meet & say hi drop me a line!!

Oh btw! Great to see yet another great MTO idea brewing up about the Suede Chelsea! :)

    1. I do have 2 interested so far for the brown suede Chelsea in Inca or Forest Last!

    2. I also saw quite a few interests in Grey Suede Chelsea in Soller Last as well :)
    @rydenfan @Michael Haines @budapest12 @bkotsko @greasymonkey @aldenwear @rc121 @PartagasIV

The grey suede from Carmina is actually bit more blueish than the picture below.
I think the picture below was (1. taken outside with direct sunlight & 2. has some contrast editing with photoshop)

This is the latest grey suede batch we received from Carmina..(bit darker and has a blue-ish tint to it)

If you gents are still okay with the grey suede (darker / blue-er) we can get this MTO started! :)
    Cheers!
    Steve

Will Carmina make a chelsea on the Oscar last? Might be a decent option for those of us with lower insteps?

Thanks for the reply! Carmina didn't notify SkoAB either, so I guess we'll all see what Carmina says.

    Steve,

I am still in for sure. Thanks for organizing!! The makeup I proposed was:
    Grey suede Chelsea
    Sollar last
Reverse welt with natural edge trim
    Elastic in charcoal or navy

I am totally open to what people think on the elastic. I think the darker nature of the suede changes it a bit. I thinking picking some different so it doesn't look like we tried to match the suede is the way to go, but again I am open

What is that second shoe that Steve posted called? I am really digging that. I like that suede color, too.

It's their tanker but there is a new one due soon. Both Steve and Skoak have done some really nice makeups in it

I really like that grey suede boot posted above. I am waiting for more details on the new NST Carmina posted to their IG feed.

NST Carmina on the Skoatiebloget IG?

The MTO Alderley in olive calf is just stunning.

    No. On Carmina's IG.

    Isn't it? That's why I want a burgundy pair.

    Edit. Just tagged you.

I might be in for grey suede Chelsea boots! Would really like Inca last but looks like decision was made to go with Soller.

Wonder if it's similar to Inca?

I'm in for that NST boot. Seen that pic before. Good looking out.

    Re: Chelsea...

Thoughts on grey suede but purple lining and purple elastic? I'd love it on the Oscar or Rain lasts. Wide foot, high instep here.

And are you guys against details like a medallion?

Is there anything going on with grey or navy loafers?

I prefer Inca, but Soller may have to do, if the fit is ok.
