Is the coating on huntsman actually darker, or is that just the light?

I sometimes carry a pen as well. My favorite are my Grimsmo Sagas, but I’ve found the clip on my Tactile Turn zirc pen more practical.Nice pocket bulge.

Yeah, I am always using and carrying toothpicks. Honestly, probably, wallet being the exception, the most useful part of my kit.Do you use the toothpicks? I’ve never EDC them but can see that being beneficial.
All that said, I like and nearly always have a knife in pocket, usually something small and high quality, probably best considered as pocket jewelry. Fidget spinner with a blade.Yeah, I am always using and carrying toothpicks. Honestly, probably, wallet being the exception, the most useful part of my kit.
In order of actual use, it's
Wallet
Toothpicks
SAK/flashlight

Knife.
No one really "needs" a locking blade, though when they come in useful, they are very useful. But for most daily tasks, a the SAK blade, though much less convenient to use, is perfectly adequate. I mean, if you are in the field, or whatever, okay, but unexpected needs for a locking knife are rare, unlike the need for a small screwdriver, or scissors, or a flashlight (especially when your eyes are subpar, like mine).

My usual is the Tinker - shown, and the two flatheads plus the Phillips have gotten more use than any blade, on any knife. Granted, a knife did save my life once, but that is hopetully a once in a lifetime thing.I’d say I probably use the bottle opening/screwdriver more than the blade on my SAK too.
Hatchet for doubling up your zombie attacks, and the belt knife for close up encounters. Blue Ridge Hunter for cutting up snacks.Waxed up The Walking Dead EDC.

The BRH is currently on its fourth coat of RW's Majestic. It really soaks it up. No idea how many coats it's going to take to get some nice grain out of it.
