Just asked based on the group set you linked. Seller had the scales out.

So now that you're not a WW what's the benefit of going used and 13 year old DA vs. modern and new 105?

I can't clarify the mix of parts. But it works.

I know who you're explaining yourself to multiple times...it's just what happens with him; it's not you.
How typically inane, coming from Mr. 0 Contributions himself.

It was/is, by far. Maybe the most beautiful Shimano group ever.
That’s a pretty bold assertion, and is obviously subjectively true. I’d take SRAM over Shimano any day, based on looks and functionality. And yes, I do have both (Ultegra Di2 and Force).

7800 is nice, but my current R7000 works significantly better.

Which is saying something because I used to race on the 7800 and it was fantastic.

I do miss the IAB position though...

@Fueco
Because sram and Shimano are cross compatible for cassettes, ive honestly debated getting sram for one bike. I think it tends to be a bit lighter at the same cost as well which is nice.

I have to say SRAM has me intrigued. If I decide to get that trail bike next year thinking I need to go SRAM. Lot's a trail bikes with integrated storage so there's that too. ;)
