I'm very close to making a decision on the Grants in Vintage Cedar - anyone have any thoughts about G&G and this style?

the grants i would go with a darker brown if possible, but cedar is a great choice as well. excellent shoes.

I know, I know. I was hoping for a synopsis. But I think the ultimate conclusion on stilmacher's opinion on G&G was a non-opinion.

This is one of the few Gaziano & Girlings that I do not like so much. I must admit that I have never seen them in person though. I dont like that it has so many pairs of eyelets, although Tony Gaziano told me they could make it with five eyelets... that was a while ago and the MTO program is now less flexible...

I much prefer, the Gable. Leatherman posted some nice pics of those on the MH71 last in the vintage oak colour. Gorgeous

He made some fair criticisms of the finishing one one pair of shoes that hadn't been made by anyone else. G&Gs are not to everyone's taste. Corthays are not to my taste. Anyway...
