1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Hey Ed...

From what i've heard, he will be pricing himself slightly below what EG charged for his services so I would expect to pay something slightly south of$3k (which would include shoe trees). The deposit would traditionally be half.

Thanks, slightly south sounds like Virginia to me, I need them to go as far south as Argentina!

Andrew's figures are right, and the first pair of shoes will take about 9 months to a year to complete. But it's pretty cool to have 1 of only about 100 pairs made a year.

I expect the price to be 1,400 GBP, which includes trees. If I recall correctly, EG was 1,550, and Tony said he was going to charge 10% less.

So much for 10% less. Unless EG's final price was more like 1,700, which I do not recall.
