After another agonizing wait I present to you the G&G Hughes. Celebrate with me: I have finally received my modified Hughes shoe on the MH71 last in vintage cherry. I do really like the colour which is not quite true on my monitor... it is really a browny pink. "Vintage cherry" is a good description. So to answer JJL5000's excellent post; no, your's weren't the last of the flexible G&G modifications... mine might be. Check 'em out. J

Lovely- the brogueing on the heel, especially.

Sweeeet! Cherry sweet! And I am indeed celebrating with you.

The colour is just amazing and I'd dare say "wear it with a navy suit!"

As CG mentioned, the brogueing is just stunning and the beveling of the sole is out of this world.

How long did you wait for these, if I may ask? Exactly how agonising was "agonising"?

I waited eight and half months for these... factory closed a couple of times and there was a storm which caused damage and and and... J

sweet shoe. however, the broguing on the heel part does not curve nicely in my opinion and seems off.

    Wait, you smell that?
those are sweet. they gave you a curved adelaide!? when I asked for that with my modified hughes, they said they couldn't do it, and could only do their standard adelaide, otherwise, the EG-style adelaide is only offered through bespoke. Looks very nice.
