Waiting on my Grants (Margaux) also. I did enquire a month ago and was told it will be another 6-8 weeks.

I am having toe taps installed too so no doubt that will add to the delay.

I'm still generally ok with it but am starting to get a bit frustrated now.

My attitude as well. Guess I wish they'd given a more accurate timeframe for the production of out-of-stock orders...saying 6-8 weeks for production only to then inform me an additional 2-3 weeks once I contacted them at 8 weeks doesn't sit real well.

Yeah i think for any folks ordering for the first time, or a shoe for a specific event (rather than to increase a rotation), they would rightfully be a bit pissed off.

The shoes are certainly worth it though, so if everyone can remain patient, good things will come.

Hi everyone. I have an extra pair of lasted trees TG73. I have several KN14 shoes I use generic trees with, would it damage the shoes if I use the TG73 shoes with that last?

How old are your TG73 trees? G&G stopped making last-specific (other than deco) trees a few years ago now, so unless the trees are pretty vintage, I'd say your KN14s won't notice the difference.

If they are vintage and pretty squared off round the toe you could always file them down, I suppose (never tried that myself, I hasten to add) to round the corners off a bit - the toe box is the only place where, in theory, the difference would be. See below an earlier discussion of this:

When I enquired about whether their new shoe trees are lasted below is the reply I received.

I'm pretty sure mine are last specific, you can see pictures below
