Regular olive fall/winter wool trousers. I like them too. Something I bought at Benetton in Italy almost 10 years ago and have survived the evolution of my wardrobe.

they look nice. What pants are those?

Have me thinking about taking mine off the BST ?
Ha ha you should. Yours have Ridgeway, so even better. Had I more opportunities to wear these, I would've acquired a few more Thorpes. I feel they are just too nice to wear on my usual outings (i.e errands)

Ok, I understand it. I do not wear much my Thorpes in burgundy Kudu, but I absolutely love them and fit is great. It is fantastic boot. Now, thinking of a loafer (great fit gamble) with Helene in H. Russian too. Hey, just thinking...

The London Collective

During lockdown a small group of artisans met on Savile Row and decided to form the London Collective.

The group will be travelling together to New York, Washington DC, Dallas and Los Angeles showing examples of Shoes, Cloth's, Fabrics and frames to all that attend.

we will be holding Cocktail Evenings at each venue, if you wish to attend please e-mail so we can put you on the guest list.

In addition we will be giving our clients the opportunity to partake in a silent Auction. Each company will donate a one of their services to help raise money for the Princes Trust.

I am still not sold on what makes the Deco last special but I am fond of this pair.

I thought about this pair on the End of Line sale. I was tempted, but I promised myself to try on G&Gs before buying them again, as I need to confirm the fit.

I also like the design of this model, but feared that they’d be too long considering my 11.5UK size…

Since my first pairs of dress shoes were Loding and Finsbury, I am comfortable with pointy shoes. As for sizing, they run small. I am a 10.5UK in almost all makers, but the 11UK takes a while to break-in, as the last is narrow. There is no way my feet would fit in a 10.5UK.

Yes, I think it's a matter of being comfortable with such a pointy last. My feet are already fairly big given my regular 11UK size, so I am afraid it would be too much.

Like you said, on G&G I need to size up, so I have to wear 11.5UK. I do have an Oxford and fit is ok.

The thing is last year ago I bought another model on the TG73 last (super summer deal) but the left foot had a weird crease, which was bad enough to make me return them. I don't know if it was an issue with that shoe in particular or if it's my foot that didn't get along well with the last. Hence the need to try them in person, which I haven't been able to do yet.

Anyway, long story. But I hope you enjoy your shoes! It's a beautiful pair.
