You know Wigmores are stock model so you should check with Nick if you could order them now at sale price. It is worth of try.

Was contemplating the Connaught but someone just picked it up. Others to ponder:

    Westminster (cherry)
    Oakham (racing green)

I really liked the Connaght but was conflicted because I eventually want to pick up some EG Beaulieu in Burgundy...

Thanks for whomever made the choice easier for me!

I caved and picked up the Wigmore in Rioja/Burgundy grain. I've been coveting this particular boot for some time and the chance to get it at any discount was too difficult to pass up. They'll be my first pair of Bal boots. At least I held strong and didn't add a pair (or 2) of St. James II to that order, though now I'll likely just start obsessing over them now that I didn't kop.

Thanks, gents. Now I'm torn between the Oxford and the Westminster in Vintage Cherry. No one say both.

Well if it helps, bordeaux is aniline leather, the color is uniform. Vintage cherry on the other hand is burnished leather it will have some black burnishing on the toes and heels.

Anyone sizing down .5 in GG06? It seems it's it may be a little wider than EG 202.

Any "Oxford" pictures in the wild?

Anyone get an answer to ordering out of stock items, for sale price-similar to Edward's of Manchester?

Although I've always wanted an Austerity wingtip, a few makers, including EG, do a pretty good job. However, the TG73 does provide the snug fit that I light slightly better than the 82/888. I also prefer something different from dark oak since I have a number of shoes in that range. Maybe next year a burgundy Connaught will pop up.

The Oakham in racing green definitely looks nice but for my wardrome, the color would bet better suited on the shelves than my day-to-day wear...

Arran is also nice but the D would kill my feet.

Congrats to those who pick up shoes! Nick has been great to work with. I owe my first G&G (Wigmore) to him!

What GG lasts do you have?

I wear the same size in GG06 and KN14.

I would not recommend sizing down.

Sizing help? I want to pick some of these up... I'm wearing 8E in the C&J 348 last right now, what might that correspond to in G&G?
