Taking my Midnight Blue Gables on TG73 for a spin today. They feel great.

Has anyone noticed that where the shoe creases, some residue comes off? It seems like it's dried blue cream or dye or something. Also, where the leather creases, it's white. Thoughts on that?

Also, it seems a I have a number of shoes that just don't fit me well. The Fairmont in Vintage Rioja (I somehow bought two of these without realizing it), Chelsea MH71 (UK 7.5/US 8) in Vintage Cherry, Arran in Black Calf are going back. If you want them, then PM me. Otherwise, I'm taking them back to the store.

I'm on the fence with the Walkton. They're snug. Can't decide if it's too snug.

MH71 works much better than TG73 for me, unfortunately you're not my size, otherwise I would definitely get the Fairmont and possibly Arran...

These are the Walktons per Spoo. They are a bit snug on me so I'm on the fence.

give them at least 6 wears before deciding. they should soften up and be just right if they are just a bit snug now.

Yeah, I think I can deal with how snug the Walktons are, but I don't think I can handle the Fairmont or Chelsea. Bummer. Really love those colors.

Anybody think G&Gs will go 75% off at Barneys on Friday?

For those who are worried about them being too snug--in my experience, G&Gs break in a pretty good deal. To the point where ones that were really snug are actually kind of loose now.

Something tells me that Fairmonts will be among them.
