G&G for RL Antibes in dark brown calf

This is not the thread for the following shoes, but I though some of you may appreciate the process.
These are Riccardo Bestetti test shoes for my 2 pairs which will be done this summer. He made a test shoe to test the fit. This cheap leather shows all fit faults like an imprint.

By the way, these are EU 47 wide.

I am looking at a MTO in vintage chestnut as well. The burnished toe sold me on it. Especially on that MTO burnham from a bit ago...

Looks bespoke. I've yet to see and MTO that is burnished that well.


I suppose you are right, that burnishing was indeed next level awesome. I recall GG doing custom burnishing for a fee. Such was the case for a client that wanted dark cherry on their oakhams, if i recall correctly:

Maybe that could be an option to look into...
