I got a pair of MTO Walkton's in black suede a few months back. They are quite something.

I have a pair of black suede wing tips (not GG). I haven't really figured out how to wear them other than with raw jeans

I've been thinking about black suede oxfords for a while, but think they can only really be worn with light- to mid-grey suits. You wear yours with an odd jacket?

I think a black suede wholecut would make a nice evening shoe. If you're thinking of something to wear during the day, I agree I wouldn't wear with an odd jacket. I wouldn't really wear any black shoes I can think of off the top of my head except with a blazer and grey trousers, and I'd rather wear calf with that.

Can we still be friends if I tell you I hate wholecuts?
