Correct. Bespoke England offers some RTW Oakham Double Monks, but they are solid colors, no combinations.

I'm going to stop by and talk to them about it. I'll come back and share what I find and what I choose to do and then in something like 5-10 months hopefully I can add some new pictures to this thread.

Apparently it's 8 months from order to delivery for a pair of bespokes. I got measured. Now just a decision to make...

A decision to make in terms of the style/pattern, last toe shape, and material of your bespoke shoes.

p.s., I have not yet seen any good round toe shaped G&G bespoke.

IMHO the reason most men commission bespoke shoes is to get away from the boxy pedestrian round toes. They are available anywhere and from most RTW lines, so why spend 5-10 times the money to get them bespoke!! Not knocking them down (I lik ethem too), but rationalizing the reason for their rarity among bespoke shoes.

Oh okay. I'm thinking between those double monks or St James in suede. Can't decide, on the other hand the suede shoes are right of the webshop and could be here pretty fast (MTO a long wait) ...

FWIW, I've got the St. James in polo suede and find them to be versatile and timeless. As much as I might enjoy looking at the Oakhams, they appear to me as more aggressively-styled and therefore may give you less utility.

You are right. And my first instinct was the St James at the first, have been wanting them for a while now since I don't have nice suede shoes like that. You have som fit-pic of your shoes ?
