thats no good. higher prduction isnt usually a good thing for quality control or wait times.

That's a shame. There are going to be some real tools out there with nice shoes.

I still think it makes more sense to buy from Nik at Bespoke.

for example:-

Walkton @ Bespoke England = GBP 585 = circa $ 900.00
Walkton @ Barney's = $1125 <-- at this price they better include shoe trees and shipping

At this price point, you shouldn't be splitting hairs over price. Sometimes people want to buy local, the extra money is worth it to them.

meh, only 12 pairs. 2 of which are the arran boot, and 2 that are the westbury. so really 10 choices. in predetermined colors, materials and lasts. sizes 9.5-11 US, and a few 8.5s. all only available for pre-order. with expected delivery in july. underwhelming. this actually makes me happy.

presumably they picked models that they determined would sell on visual appeal even to someone not familiar with the brand. and based on the initial offerings success they will likely determine weather or not to expand the line.
