Sharing here for folks who don't follow Meet the Hand on IG. The Hand is offering MTO fee waiver on orders placed on May 14. I've been chatting with Dennis, he mentioned he's also going to stock a bunch of new RTW models including Thorpe and Urban Commando

Burnham for lunch with the team. First time seeing everyone in person since March 2020. I'm thinking about going into the office a day or two each week so I can wear my favorite footwear.

Has anyone had problems slipping? I wore a new pair of St James II to the symphony and almost killed myself on the marble floor. I wrote it off as the floor, but then experience the same thing wearing them a few weeks later at the mall. Would adding taps help?

Leather soles and marble floors never go well. I really don’t know why so many shopping malls and concert venues have these floors. Even with rubber soles I’ve slipped on them😳

Gentlemen, need your inputs. Commissioned 3 pairs of St James II almost a year back and the classic STJ II vintage cherry had a slightly odd crease on my right shoe. I ignored it thinking it is a polish but it only had 2 to 3 wears and that odd crease (or whatever it is) hasn't disappeared. Please see photos. I am worried whether it is the inferior leather that has been used because all my other two pairs of STJ II doesn't have that issue with ten times more wear than this one and they still look brand new. Besides, this is just the right leg and the left leg doesn't have this issue. I am based in London and thought of taking this shoe to the store and check it out but before that, I thought of checking with you all. Any input is much appreciated. Of note, this is not seconds or anything, just ordered brand new with the small toe fitting.

Just an update to my previous post. I took it to the Saville Row store and they confirmed that it was just a bit of excess polish. Simon in the store was very helpful and gave a good brushing all around. It looks much better now.
