I've no experience with their classic range nor Allen Edmonds/Alden/Vass so I can't help you. You can probably search this thread for sizing advice ad nauseum. Sorry.

I would strongly recommend that you buy used GG shoes on heavy discount and determine your size and fit. There are plenty of GG shoes on sale here on the forum and on eBay.
Then and only then begin buying brand new shoes.
Judging by what you said you could be GG size 10.5 E or 11 E but there is no way to be 100% unless you try them first.

To date I haven’t had much time to wear or focus on this gentlemen’s hobby other than an attempt at a single bespoke project when there’s time to send an email and take measurements. However in looking for a gift for someone else I found one for myself. A well-loved, well worn, pair of GG Fairbanks on Deco Square last were for sale at a considerable discount. They were cut and raked on the toe cap, vamp, heel’s edge, and heel counter. It seemed they had been without shoe trees for some time as well. More professional restorations posted on this forum have humbled me to say my restoration work is equal to a monkey with polish and repair cream. I’m curious to hear advice from other forum members on how they would have approached this type of project. Pictures below for, at minimum, your respite from tedium.
