I believe Gary @grc1 began his Deco career with a pair of these - or close to the beginning, anyway. :fistbump:

And now, for something slightly different from shoe-porn, DISCUSS.

Feel free to take it in any direction (last, styling, comfort, durability, value, etc).

    1. Vass Budapester F last in Bordeaux Museum Calf
    2. Edward Green Chelsea 202C Last in Black
    3. Anthony Cleverley Bodie in Black
    4. Gaziano & Girling Rothschild DG 70 Last in Vintage Oak

EG Chelsea black: A must have!
G&G Rothschild: Even better than EG's Malvern. On the GG06 last, it is a killer! (subjective opinion).
Vass: Great hand-welted shoes. But, i unfortunately renounced to them a while ago because of the inconsistency and unpredictability of their sizes (too many MTO orders had to be redone because they would not fit and had to be returned and refunded even after the redo)
Cleverley: i can't comment because i do not own any. But, really nice shoes though.

Well since I know you have narrrow feet & low instep. EG, gg, GC will have low instep. Small heel would be gg, then GC then EG. Out of all Vass has crazy high instep & Vass shoe sole is too dam stiff. I know you like EG number one then gg & I also know you are not fan of pointy gg shoes. From what I know based upon your posting. I would say you will be happy with gg, EG, GC & last would be Vass.
