There are still a few sizes available from this seller on eBay. Fair price, in my opinion.

Checked these out, turns out the sizes they advertise are not actually "in-stock".... after payment was sent. Anyway, will very gladly go back and knock on Skoat's door to get in line.

Unless anyone has a Thorpe in 11.5uk gathering dust...

Looking at the St James II old and new designs side by side - exact same models on the exact same last.

Old
1000

New
1000

Old
1000

New
1000

Both are stunning - and I can see how the new design looks much more refined, with a much stronger "bespoke" feel. But dammit, I still have mad love for the old version.

^I like the look of the newer version of St James II based on these pictures. Somehow the brogueing seems a bit bolder.

I find the adelaide on the old one to be more conservative, in a good way. It extends abit too far out for the new one, but that's just nitpicking. Anyone would be proud to own either.

Newer looks better on deco. But old SJII on TG73, vintage cherry is the definitive adelaide, imo.

Thanks, guys, Yes, Revilo, polo suede it is.

The St. James II is one of my fave shoes all time, kind unsold on making an changes, dont really see the need for that. :/
Thanks! my next pair is in polo so Its nice to see it in different lighting, its a hard colour to judge based on the swatch!
