There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    So we're 5.

Does any one want to suggest a make up for discussion - and hopefully to attract a 6th taker?

The "Mayflower" patina with the lighter shading at the toe is absolutely fantastic.

For the gable I'd like to see a midnight blue with extra burnishing, a British racing green or a Oak with burnishing on the toe and heel.

Can't do the BRG Gable, as I already have a pair.

Others are interesting, particularly the midnight blue.

Does anyone have a really good pic of any G&G model in burnished Oak so that I could get an idea what the Gable might look like in that option?

I know skoak stocks an oak gable but I'm not sure where to find a burnished one. I'd just like to see some darkness on the toe and heel more than the standard.

This patina looks nice too: https://www.instagram.com/p/-EW8iqyISK/

I have a dark oak St.james on order with heavy burnishing. Might actually be done soon. I will post pics when I get them.

Is burnished oak, dark oak, and vintage oak all different?

Finally got the chance to post the pics of my G&G St. James II ordered thru. skoak and i am glad i ordered these. I added the flush metal toe taps from my local cobbler (B. Nelson in NYC).
I haven't got the chance to break them in yet but my initial reaction on the fit on these adelaides is very good. They sit tightly around the heel, ankle and instep so there is no slip at all when walking and then loose enough in the front to allow the toes to move freely. The color and burnishing on these is simply amazing as well and when shined i am sure they will come super nice.
Many thanks to @dddrees , @TtownMD , @mw313 and others for recommending this model to me.

    Beautiful!

Is that an MTO StJ-III in Vintage Cedar on TG73? Or Skoak's stock model from earlier?
