1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

My goodness, those Arrans are beautiful. You know, I never used the word "beautiful" to describe foot ware until I discovered Gaziano and Girling...

Love the look! Question - are the Mitchells whole cut with perforations, or separate stitched parts?

That's true, mw313! I've actually been using the word "beautiful" for ties since 2004, suits/sport jackets since 2006, fountain pens since 2007, etc. I guess it just took a bit of time for things to click in my brain vis-Ă -vis foot ware! And as with the other items, there's no going back!

no they won't mistake them at all! The Ram is my favorite so far for a boot. I like it more than the Zug and I hope that when my Kudu comes in, that it will be able to compare to this!!!!

I want to thank @Ironist for his amazingly detailed camera pics. You can almost feel the texture of that ram and mini herring bone tweed trousers, fantastic...

They're "false brogues" - the wingtip isn't a separate layer of leather, it's marked out by stitching and perforations.
