The boots look awesome!
What products/colors do you use to care for them? They look great, also, what size are you? I should have a pair of G&G Cambridge in 6.5F for sale by the holidays in Cherry.
Thanks Itsuo, it's size 6F. Not sure if that is really my size but it's fairly comfortable. Also, I didn't apply the shine but I was told it was sapphire burgundy wax.
Wow...I would never get anything done staring at the depth of color and shape of those.Just got this in the mail yesterday from Nick
Saint James II in deco last and color 8 Horween Shell Cordovan.
Am extremely pleased with the outcome and the shell finishing is the best I've seen thus far. Especially really like the red undertones on the caps and heel counters. They kind of disappear indoors though. And of course...the waist on the deco last. Love it!!!
Wanted to personally thank Nick as I know it's not easy to get GG to work with shell cordovans
Just got this in the mail yesterday from Nick
That Thorpe is badass. Full specs?
MTO casual boot bonanza time.
Model: Thorpe
Last: GG06
Colour: vintage rioja
Sole: Ridgeway
Smell: oh boy...
Where have you been!? I've been pm'ing you!
Thank you, all.
agedashidofu, those waists are just about as close as wearable. Mad skills at the G&G factory. I wonder how long it takes to sculpt and finish leather to such extent.
rydenfan, what specs do you need? My message and shoe box photo show all.
Ridgeway is the best smart sole unit I've tried. Dainite is slippery in winter and also hard, Commando packs snow and stones, crepe has a tendency to crack. Vibram's Eton is also wonderful but I can't yet say how it ages and handles winter.
