Would be interested in seeing some IRL pictures of the new Rustic Arran.

Pretty similar imo. Would love to see more comparison shots.

Edit: and here is the Thorpe in Rustic, also taken from G&G website.

    Hi guys!

I took that picture of the Thorpe and I just wanted to let you know that it was taken in the shade which indeed gives it a darker look, the shoe is lighter than it appears. However as Patrik said batches can vary.

These are better pictures, tan grain color is very fussy, it often varies in shades.

I think it's pretty good deal, especially for Deco, ordered 2 pairs Deco, one with the new round Deco last and another with pattern changes but no additional charge, also have a discount code from last order, so finally, 2 Deco @ $3000 total. Cannot find other store could have lower price at this time.

    Why?

Is it a fit issue or how it looks in your opinion?

how it looks for me. I just like the slightly more rounded toe of the GG06. I see the Thorpe on grain as a touch more casual than dress so that is why. For something more like a "dress boot" I would go MH71

The "Simply" wholecut is a seamless style, so technically it's more advanced. If money is not an issue I'd say the Simply.

I can see your point. But I actually like the MH71 because it is classier, grain and all.

I see your point and it makes a lot of sense but I feel like if I was going true casual I'd go for a brand other than GG. Then again I kind of wish I did gg06 so maybe it's just regrets talking

I agree that the MH71 is classier regardless. Yes the GG06 will help make it more casual but all GG are still classy shoes and if you want a more rustic or casual look try Enzo Bonafe, some Edward Green country styles, Carmina, or some St Crispins.
