There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

i love how this pair's shading has some more brown hues to it too, in addition to the normal vintage cherry! It is different, but i really like it!

Some colors that look a little too bold in pictures, look just great IRL. This was a great example, vintage cherry is not too red at all, it's just right...

Here's hoping the Kudu and Cedar are just as good.

    Fingers crossed.

Class and elegance Jugei. So much better than all the weird and wonderful G&G variations. Formal or casual, those shoes rock!!!

Can any of you gents help me figure out an appropriate size for me in G&G's GG06 last? I'd like to pre-order the Glencoe boot - which would be my first foray into G&G - and I've had trouble googling for what I am looking for.

I wear 12D in Alden's Barrie and generally wider lasts. I wear 12E in their Aberdeen and Plaza lasts. I've read that G&G has rather narrow lasts but that GG06 is one of their wider ones. Can anyone please recommend a size for me based on my Alden sizing? I would very much appreciate it!

For all intents and purposes, 11.5F is the safest bet.

    +1.

As an aside, I remember Dean saying the occasional tan polish works well with vintage cherry.

Will do. I am eager to see them in natural day light too.

At first I though a dark color might "obfuscate" the texture of hatch grain. However, I found that for espresso hatch shoes the grain really imparts a different hue based on the angle of reflected light. I hope to get a similar effect from black hatch.

Also does anyone know how G&G marks shoes from sample sales? S for sale, seconds, subs? R for reject?

Just curious stevent, how do you maintain those? Is saphir polish good for the kudu leather?

I've only worn them 3x so haven't done anything, I'm sure normal saphir polish would be fine

I like my hand sewn G&G bespoke more than my G&G RTW. Wears better as well.

I never requested for gemming for my bespoke orders. Because I know it's unreliable and sub par.

Maybe you don't agree. And you are more than welcome to bespeak gemmed shoes.

If I had a Porsche Turbo and an Audi in the driveway I'd probably prefer the Porsche.

On a different note I also think Steven's trousers looks like Kudu. Ocean Kudu.

    Kudu or sea turtle?

Didn't they hosted one earlier this year? Some bespoke samples were on sale too.
