Its the same full brogue as Luk-Cha's (Bespoke),, not really based on anything really. The balmoral part is all one seamless piece.
Great pair of shoes. I think I see taps?
Nice package from Nick to greet me before I head off to the US tomorrow:
St. James, MH71 in vintage oak
St. James, MH71 in polo suede
Oxford, DG70 in black
Arran, MH71 in vintage oak
Unfortunately, the St. James in suede and the Arran go back to G&G to correct some minor imperfections. Nick immediately offered to bring them to the factory for resolution, so I'm pleased with the level of customer service. I hope to have them back in Paris before too long. Note: fit modifications made by Dean on my two pairs from last week have made a great fit even better.
nice haul again, thro i am loving the oxfords and the chukka's
I'm posting these pics of my adopted baby because I am finally thinking about breaking them in, 6 months after I received them
though i'm no oshinex or lukcha when it comes to glamorous photos, this baby is quite photogenic as you can see
Nutcracker: ^ Great shoes and very nice pics! Love the last.
have to see the arran in person first, before i make a judgement...
BS i take it?? coz wow look at that waist
i am sure you'll hate it ;-)
hmmh, no. i do not hate chukkas, as i don't hate shoes in general.
but they are on the edge to be more hideous than the alden chukka. which is, imo, hard to beat.
actually, i met medtech in person, so i have a different picture.
i see - so what design of chukka it your fave??????
LOL yeah the waist....... i remember a picture on some thread a lil while ago of a guy licking the sole, maybe I should do that just for memory's sake
mt- what was wrong with the two you sent back?
medtech, are you adopting?
