Haha, I agree. The picture was taken when I tried them on initially and those were the pants I happened to be wearing that day. I would not be wearing the Mayfairs with those pants otherwise.

This is a hatch grain I assume chestnut (sienna) hatch grain. I can say this is a Rothschild model but what about the last DG70 or GG06.

Perfect fall boot for a perfect fall day. Excuse the camera phone photo - had to wash out the lovely city of Seattle in the background in order to get the shoes to show up well.

Yeah, I liked the double sole more than I thought I would. I debated a bit on these because the double sole doesn't have the cool G&G fiddleback waist, but I'm glad I went with them. I've only worn them about 3 times, but I didn't find them to be too stiff or anything, so I'd say the break-in is going well.

FYI there is an option for a double sole tapered to single at the waist with fiddleback waist. Not sure if they have the option for MTO but you can ask.

If you mean the HAF sole, it is suppose to still have the fiddled back waist, and double soled. Although on my MTO, the fiddled back is very subtle... :(

Tony didn't call it the HAF sole on my order form, but "double sole tapered to single".
