Many people on this forum wear the same size in both lasts however, I could not fit in tg73 last. The toe box was just too narrow. I think if you can fit in tg73 you should be fine in mh71. In my experience mh71 toe box has more room.

Just saw a pair of Paul Stuart's with the same nail patter as G&G, but inside size font seems to indicate AS

Those do look like AS - pity the soul who gets sold the F fitting and an E. Lovely shoes to look at, the AS are, it goes downhill from there. G&G only goes upwards...!

S F width is standard E-WIDTH UK, for other makers.

    Weird thing about nail pattern.

actually, the nail pattern is missing 1 nail (minor detail) on the posterior medial nail pattern (G&G uses 3 if I remember correctly).

In regards to sizing, I wear the same size (down width in the loafers); the TG73 was tight after the first couple of miles but they are easily one of the more comfortable boots I have (Wigmores).

man, all you have to do is say the word (wigmore) and just turn melancholy from my poorly fitting pair :(

yes mh71 is a touch wider. I prefer it over the tg73, doesnt require any break-in to be comfortable, and i like the slightly less pronounced square toe box

I really like the look, however I'm not convinced on the Last (fit), and I'm already getting a Dover. But D@mn I sure do like the way it looks.

yeah i said i was done with G&G because the price/quality ratio dipped below that of EG. when G&G increased prices and required everyone to buy shoe trees i was equally annoyed and disappointed . they also required some retailers to stop selling lasted 3 piece trees in order to validate charging bespoke customers a 300% premium.

long story short, i placed the order for this MTO 2 years ago and after some miscommunication and extended delays, and then more delays, i asked for the refund. then this boot popped up on bespoke-englands site and with the 30% code was worth my monies (I sold my EG shannon to fund this bad boy). To my chagrin, this boot was made exactly to my specs and included the 3 piece trees i requested. so yeah, im happy to have my received my pair of G&Gs afterall
