Sorry man. I am really bummed. Its a sizing issue, or I would keep these.
So you mean the JL City II? If so, all 3 very different shoes. I'm not a personal fan of single monks with the exception of the JL Jermyn II/III so I'm not in the Windsor camp. I just got my St. Tropez in mole suede and LOVE them. I also have a pair of JL City II's in parisian brown museum and they are one of my most versatile pairs. If I'm picking between those 2 G&G models and the JL model...I'll have to stick with the City II's. That said, there's plenty of G&G I'd take over the City II's in a heartbeat.
But like Coldcava said...if it's a $10k question, then the only real answer is yes.
Walkton, maiden voyage.
wear your wt in good health
I have these Biarritz and I love them, comfortable and beautiful colour and the leather gets better with age.
those look better on foot than than on box. very nice.
keep sailing spoo!
I tried those on at Barneys in BH, but just didn't pull the trigger. Look great on you!
A couple of days ago I was so proud of myself for showing some fiscal restraint and leaving Barney's with just the one pair of Fairmont's. But as the pictures roll in I have commenced kicking myself (but at least it's with the Fairmonts).
I feel you. Can't believe i Iet a little thing like "proper size" hold me back. ....
Fairmont is from Barneys? no wonder I can't find it anymore
Let me know if you want to sell the Fairmont , I think I remember you are 9E UK, i.e. same size as me
Could one of the G&G experts point out the difference between the Antibes and the very similar looking version, that was for a short time produced for the RLPL line?
I think it was called the Greenfield.
Thanks in advance.
BTW - I will pay top $$$ for a pair of the Antibes in 10E (possibly even 9.5)..
Darren, how are you doing? Gearing up for DC summer?
