Girl I'm dating asked me to wear aqua di pleb. I loled.
she's slowly coming around. Fortunately, she's not the complete over-fashioned, under-styled woman that most are. That said, I can understand many people's resistance to green shoes, yet one must go for it. We've learned that style is all about a flow concept. I showed her a pair of red paraboot derbies, to which she replied "buy the green ones." Ah the beauty of making something more attractive by showing something comparatively less attractive.
keep the girl, grab a pair of vintage cedar or dark oak
lawlz good move.
Haha, well played! The green Gables are great compare to any shoe and i bet your GF wil think that too in six month or so
I work in the world of design and presenting concepts is my stock in trade. I'll thank you kindly to not reveal my closely held 'trade secrets' to the entire world.
keep the girl, grab another one on the side who REALLY digs you wearing your green shoes, and nothing else.
Best advice in this thread.
Heh heh, that's brilliant!
as this thread's resident green shoe detractor, i'm checking in to show support for trojan's girlfriend
Well, working in the financial industry precludes wearing such shoes for work, and a limited budget preludes buying (and wearing) such shoes anywhere else! Lol!
They are, at least, interesting. I have my own opinions, but am interested to hear (read) yours.
This thread has gotten very funny...and only reinforces my desire to purchase the racing green savoy.
