better than the AS
For the record, I love ya guys, gif wars 2012.
sees 10 new posts in thread
finds out it was just a gif war
no, the bearded gifs were not a coincidence.
Fuck me. Why didn't I think of that....
Guys, are any of you interested in the Biarritz? I got them a 1/2 size small, its was the only size they had left, hoping they would work, but just too small for me. Anyone want them at cost before I sell/send back? I paid $459 + tax.
So Madison Ave has my size ( 1 pair), at $699 + tax & no trees
Thought you guys were picking these up for less
Did I imagine this?
Please tell me these did not go on sale....http://www.barneys.com/Gaziano-Girling-St.-Ives/502417599,default,pd.html?cgid=mens-laceups&index=22
Couple reasons for that. Retail on Westbury, Gable, Biartitz have higher retail than Savoy, Windsor but discount is higher (60% off). Savoy and Windsor have lower retail but also lower discount (40%).
Hey guys I have an appointment at the London showroom in a few days for my MTO Mitchell. This model hasn't been getting a lot of mention in this thread which is why I'm so torn on which leather color to choose for my shoe since there aren't many pictures available online. I know I want the TG73 last but I'm torn between vintage rioja and vintage chestnut. These are two very different colors but i love them both equally. If you guys could give me some input as to which one (if either of them at all) you think looks better on the Mitchell that would thoroughly help me out. Thanks!
Vintage Rioja is the more versatile color
I think both colors look great, maybe my two favorite colors from GG along with Vintage Cedar. I think you should pick color based on how you want to wear the shoes. I would probably go with chestnut because with a lighter color you can build your own patina.
Rothschild vintage chestnut
Westminster vintage rioja
Thanks Spoo & Namor for the detailed explanations on The Barney's deal
This is very simple. You should order 2 pairs, one in chestnut and the other in vintage rioja.
