There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I do have to say I like the DM without a capbut with a medallion [talking myself out of it by thinking the toe would just look like the Wigmores]...

Yes. I find G&G to go half size up from UK size for your US size. Pretty consistently. Find it a bit snug but in a nice way.

Lovely but infuriating for me, as I can't figure out why my MH71 Savoy toe caps are creasing right above (i.e., on the cap) the v point when other people (like you) don't have the issue.

I have the Canterbury on DG70, a perfect last for that boot.

    Sizing Question:

    If i am UK7.5 C&J (328, 341, 325), would i take a UK8 DG70? Looking to pul the trigger on a pair of rothschild

Thanks for the feedback. Can others opine? Don't want to make a mistake in sizing especially since i dont have the option to try-on. Nearest option would be Leffot, 630 miles away

To some extent, you're rolling the dice. You'll never be sure if the last is going to fit you well without trying it on. But .5 above your CJ size is the one with the best chance of success.

I'm a 7,5E in most CJ and wear 8E in DG70, boots and oxfords.

    awesome.
just wanted to say im excited for your future purchase! also, are you going RTW or MTO? either way, if you really want the proper fit, you are best off to get a try on first imo, if you can.
    both fantastic.

    Thanks, Stitchy. I am too.

I'm thinking of doing five MTOs and one RTW. I haven't decided all the details yet, but so far I'm thinking about EG Halifax in chestnut calf; EG Dover in nutmeg suede; EG Dover in either hazel or burnt pine; EG Olney in dark oak antique; and G&G Canterbury in shell cordovan. The RTW is EG's Piccadilly in dark oak antique.

Unfortunately there are no stores around here that sell G&G, so I'm unable to try any on in person. I'm an 8.5 in EG's 202 and 82, however, so it sounds like 8.5 in G&G's GG06 would work.

Take the same size in G&Gs as your EGs

those are some great kops on the EGs (and GG)

The Halifax is awesome. Usually it is sold in an F width to accommodate thicker winter / country socks (fyi)
