With nice khakis, linen trousers, etc. etc.
I do agree that the sole would be more appealing in brown/natural. Although I'd be happy to own them as is!
I think Khakis with those would look funny.
light grey linen
Now we have that figured out, who is gonna buy them...?
Plain 'ol khakis from the Gap might not work. But high quality khakis made from high quality fabric would be fine, IMO.
I've got a pair of grey kiton jeans that would be pure seks with those.....
I don't understand what the quality has to do with the look... khakis are the ultimate blah pants. These shoes would need some pants with pizzaz. Perhaps some Tom Ford pants.
Different cut and fabric will produce different results. A good analogy would be G&G Black TG73 Oxford vs. AE PA. Both captoe oxfords, totally different looks.
That's because one will have a bland, blobby shape. The other will have somewhat exotic styling.... a stylistic change is not the same as a quality change.
no doubt, mr. baller mcballinstein
It's not the 'what' - it's the 'how'.
For instance - does Tom Ford offer khakis? If so I bet they are not blah.
I'm guessing he doesn't for that reason .
Try some Cucinelli shades of grey and blue chinos/khakis.
best suggestion so far. a cucinelli vibe would be a perfect match for those shoes.
